WorldEd EdTech Strategy Sessions: PhET Interactive Simulations and Building teacher tech skills using learning communities

Join the next World Education's monthly EdTech Strategy Sessions. 

During this session, Rebecca Vieyra from PhET Interactive will be giving a lightning talk on PhET Math + Science simulations. If you are not familiar with PhET, these are easy to use simulations that are great for exploring concepts in math and science such as equality, functions, area, fractions, base-10, and more. All of the simulations can be downloaded for offline use, and most of them are available in multiple languages.  

Beyond just seeing the simulations in action, you'll learn about a) PhET Virtual Workshops for teacher professional development, b) inclusive design features to support learning differences, c) translations to support English language learners, d) a global PhET Fellowship, and more. 

The EdTech Strategy Sessions include two, 20+ minute lightning talks with Q&A, followed by breakout sessions to provide opportunities for those who are interested to dive deeper into a topic of interest.
